"When you're 24, it's hard to find a store where you love everything in it," said Kendra Van Wyk. With eight years of experience working in fashion retail and a degree in marketing, this UNI grad found her niche in Pella. Adorn Clothing Co is her new boutique shop targeting young women.

Dutch Greeters met up with Kendra at her Franklin St. location to learn more about Pella's youngest entrepreneur and her dream for her store. "I have jewelry coming in and the store is now online, but to remain a brick and mortar is definitely the heart of the business."

What's the best advice you've been given?
"You're 24. You've opened your own business. You're capable of more than you know."

When did you open your doors?
We opened May 1st and Tulip Time was great! It wiped us clean and we're trying to find the balance of how much inventory to offer.

What are the plans for the rest of your space?
Upstairs is completely empty so there is space to grow and expand.
