The PACE Alliance Dutch Greeters recently celebrated the official opening of Sincera Urgent Care with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Although the urgent care center has been serving the community for several months, this event marked a special occasion to formally welcome them into the PACE family as a Silver Level Investor. With a focus on providing exceptional care to the local community, Sincera Urgent Care is defining the urgent care experience by bringing Pella its first true urgent care center.
At Sincera Urgent Care, the staff takes pride in their local roots. “Most of our staff is from Pella or the surrounding areas, so for us, it is really important that we provide exceptional care to those around us—our neighbors, friends, and family,” says Nick Kuennen, CEO of Sincera Urgent Care. This commitment to community is palpable from the moment you walk through the doors.
The design of Sincera Urgent Care was intentional and carefully crafted to ensure a welcoming atmosphere. With a space filled with plants, comfy furniture, uplifting music, and thoughtful decorations, the space feels less like healthcare and more like home. Nick emphasizes, “We wanted to be intentional about the design and feel. We wanted the space to be as comforting as possible”. This focus on comfort continues throughout the entire experience.
Sincera Urgent Care operates with a “Kingdom” mentality, striving to embody love and compassion throughout the entire process.
“Our mission here is to treat the whole individual (mind, body, and spirit). Our aim is for you to experience love and compassion in every encounter from the moment you walk in until the moment you leave,” Nick explains. This commitment to care is evident from their motto to their name. The name “Sincera,” derived from the Latin word for “sincere, sound, whole, truthful, honest and genuine” reflects the organization’s core values. Their logo features an oversized gold oak leaf, symbolizing strength and endurance. This is a nod to the owner’s children, whom he affectionately calls “the seven oaks.”
While Sincera Urgent Care specializes in urgent care services, it’s important to note that they do not provide preventative, wellness, or chronic care. Their focus lies in addressing immediate, emergent, and urgent health concerns such as tick bites, sore throats, congestion, rashes, broken bones, cuts requiring stitches, and more. With in-house lab services and x-rays, they’re equipped to handle various urgent situations efficiently.
“If it’s life, limb, or vision threatening, we recommend that you go directly to the nearest hospital Emergency Room,” Nick states. Sincera Urgent Care exists to bridge the gap between expensive Emergency Room visits and overwhelmed clinics, catering to those urgent health issues that just can’t wait but may not warrant an Emergency Room visit.
Urgent Care when you need it
Sincera Urgent Care operates seven days a week, with hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM every day except Wednesdays, from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM and Sundays from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Patients can either walk in or make appointments online—though it’s important to note that patients can only hold a spot up to 24 hours in advance.
Sincera accepts most major insurance carriers and costs are significantly lower than Emergency Room costs, providing affordable care when it matters most.
