PELLA STANDING OVATION AWARDS

With the challenges brought on by the coronavirus, 2020 was definitely one for the books!

This year our awards are focusing on those who went above and beyond to help Pella stay open and stay safe. Nominations are being accepted for an individual, business, or organization you think deserves a standing ovation for creatively navigating the situations and challenges caused by the COVID pandemic through:

  • problem-solving
  • adaptability
  • ingenuity
  • resourcefulness
  • teamwork
  • generosity
  • or out-of-the-box thinking!

We will accept nominations for our Pella STANDING OVATION Awards from our membership and from the general public.  Recipients of the awards will be recognized at the PACE Alliance Member “Thank You” Reception on June 4, 2021.

NOMINATIONS WILL BE MEASURED BY THE FOLLOWING: Overall impact on the quality of life in Pella, collaboration/partnerships, innovative programs or event(s), products or marketing, entrepreneurial spirit, impact on the local economy, and longevity of impact on the community.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Any individual, business, or organization serving or operating in the Pella area is eligible for an award.  Preference will be given to PACE Alliance member nominations. For a list of PACE Alliance members, click here or call the PACE Alliance office at 641-628-2626.

  1. When are nominations due?
    Nominations will be accepted from April 22, 2021 –May 21, 2021.
  2. Who can nominate?
    Nominations will be accepted from members of the PACE Alliance and the general public. Nominees may be self-submitted or nominated by others.
  3. What is required?
    Please fill out the nomination form with examples of how they are making an impact.
  4. When will the awards be presented?
    The Pella Standing Ovation Awards will be presented to the recipients during the PACE Alliance Member “Thank You” Reception on June 4, 2021.
